BOSTON (September 11) – Tufts Medical Center announced today that it has been accepted into the Boston Marathon Official Charity Program, and for the fifth year in a row, will be fielding a charity team for the 2018 Boston Marathon.
“We are thrilled to receive 50 invitational entries for the 2018 Boston Marathon,” said Michael Wagner, MD, President and CEO of Tufts Medical Center and Floating Hospital for Children. “As a proud partner of the B.A.A., we are honored to continue our participation in this historic Boston tradition.”
Applications to join Team Tufts MC for the 2018 Boston Marathon will be accepted starting Monday, September 11 through Friday, October 27. Accepted runners are required to raise a minimum of $6,000, however, only candidates who are committed to raising at least $7,500 or more will be considered at this time.
